What can be said about Crispin Porter + Bogusky that hasn’t been said better many times. It was far and away the best agency of the ‘00s and I am grateful to have learned there and then.
When I started in 2003, the agency was 125 people in one office in Miami. Over the next 8 years we grew to 1200 people in 5 international offices. The agency evolved from non-traditional to digital to global during my time.
I started as a bag-carrying, yes-man Account Supervisor and left as a strategic, innovation-curious, ideas-led VP. I even won an internal award one year that no one cares about but still ranks as one of the most treasured career moments.
Thank you to everyone in Miami and Boulder who showed me better ways of doing it.
P.T. Barnum’s “pygmy elephant" now lovingly resides in Boulder HQ.
